Cultural

The performing arts are about being creative. Without a creative voice, a society may become all but dead inside, and a social group without any creativity is likely to be repressive and tyrannical rather than a force for good. Come lets perform!

An Opportunity

About us

Since its inception in 2010, Ashwamedh has been a high point of AISSMS College of Engineering, Pune. It is well known that for the overall growth of an individual, academic performance should be corroborated by extra-curricular participation and skill development. The motif behind Ashwamedh was to be an event where unification of the cultural and sports events could be found under one roof for students. In the past 7 years, the event has been waxing. This year as our college celebrates its Silver Jubilee, we bring to you Ashwamedh 2018, the biggest fest you might have ever seen. The event will span for 3 days and is the ideal platform for students to underscore their skills in chess, box-cricket, 5-a-side football, kabaddi, volleyball, painting, elocution, mad-ads, standup comedy, snap hunt, poetry, elocution, rock-o-phonix, sur-sargam and hit-the-floor. The prime attractions of this year’s fest are Body Building and DJ War. The event provides a stage for showcasing the cultural skills and a zone for locking horns on the basis of their sports prowess. So, as we enter our 8th year with the participation growing every year, we know this is a never-ending process and we aim to make this event catchy and it’s just a matter of time before this event becomes one of the biggest in our nation.

WE are jovial to bring the platform for youth to express and exhibit their talents and get acknowledged for good. It’s our delight to welcome you to be a part of ASHWAMEDH ’18. Let’s celebrate youth together!
